Begin the New Year with an Art Journaling pop-up Workshop at Urban Hare in downtown Travelers Rest, offered by Shepherd’s Rest Studio.

Shepherd's Rest Studio is a pop-up faith-based art studio located in Travelers Rest, South Carolina. We offer diverse workshops rooted in Scripture, backed by timeless techniques of engaging with creation and creativity. This particular Workshop in January will invite women of all ages to learn the basics of art journaling and Scripture journaling techniques as we enter a new year. Refreshments and supplies are included in your ticket and you will go home with everything needed to start on your journey of building new habits of creativity and processing in a gentle approach rooted in rest.

Many of us need to slow down, take a break from the hustle and engage with Scripture in a new, creative way. Maybe we need to rest with our Shepherd in order to find that spark again in the new year. Maybe we need enough quiet to hear from Him about the good things He is already growing in our lives.

This beginner friendly workshop is a two-hour gift to yourself of learning basic journaling techniques rooted in how we were made. There will be collective learning time individual creating time. We will focus on the Psalms as a way to begin.
