Join us for our next Shepherd’s Rest Studio Pop-up workshop where we will explore all of the basics of planting a Pollinator’s Floral Garden

We are so excited to launch our "Painting" with Florals series of Gardening Workshops this spring with Twig And Tweed in downtown Travelers Rest. Join us at this picturesque location for an outdoor workshop on the first beautiful Saturday of spring. You will learn several key gardening tips to begin cultivating beauty with flowers and growing your very own pollinator-friendly garden. We will not be literally painting at this event but rather focusing on the benefits of being surrounded by beauty and nature, growing together, and cultivating the land with our hands to grow and figuratively "paint" with nectar-filled florals.

This workshop will include beginner tutorials on the following: soil amendment instructions, square-foot gardening, plants to cultivate to attract pollinators, host plants for butterflies, how to raise butterflies indoors, organic anti-pest options, and plants to cultivate nearby that are naturally anti-pest, and of course, a packet of your own wildflower seeds to take home. Part of your time will include a restful opportunity to sit with gardening books and writing materials, surrounded by beauty and inspiration to plan out your very own pollinator garden. Cut flowers on the horizon! Light refreshments included.
