Beauty from Ashes

On hope, loss, and God’s redemptive work

Ashes are what remain after something has been consumed—dreams lost, seasons ended, hopes diminished. Scripture does not deny this reality. It names grief honestly, without rushing toward resolution.

And yet, woven through the biblical story is a quiet promise: God is able to bring beauty where only remnants seem to exist. Not by erasing loss, but by redeeming it.

Beauty from ashes is rarely immediate. It emerges slowly, shaped by grace, patience, and trust. In the presence of God, even what feels burned beyond use can become part of a new story—one marked not by denial, but by resurrection.
