Shepherd’s Rest Studio offers a community to deepen connection with Jesus, grow in creativity and thrive in community.

For centuries, Travelers Rest has been a place where the weary paused.

Not only for people — but for their herds.

Sheep, cattle, and families once rested on this land, finding water, pasture, and safety before continuing their journey on to other places.

Long before our studio opened, this area served as a resting place for rescued animals and weary travelers - many wounded, fragile, and burned out. Travelers Rest is where people have come for generations to pause and take a deep exhale.

Shepherd’s Rest is proud to operate in and around Travelers Rest to continue this story of rest and restoration with Jesus in the cultivation of land, creativity, and community.

God does His most faithful work in quiet places.
